Frequently Asked Questions

How do I prepare for my roof and siding replacement?

Clear your driveway.

Park your vehicles away from the house and driveway to avoid any accidental damage from falling debris or equipment. We suggest moving your vehicles out of your garage and parking them safely on the street or another designated area away from the work zone. We will contact you with the material drop off details.

Clear the area around your home. Please remove any items that might obstruct the work crew, such as patio furniture, grills, potted plants, toys and lawn decorations. Consider covering delicate items that cannot be moved. This allows for easy access and prevents damage to your belongings.

Secure children and pets. For their safety and to allow the crew to focus on their work, please keep children and pets indoors and away from the work area.

Remove wall hangings. Vibrations from the work could cause pictures and other wall decorations to fall. It is a good idea to remove them temporarily, especially on the upper level of your home.

Be prepared for loud noise and pounding. It is also courteous to let your neighbors know about the upcoming work, as there will be noise and activity.

Do I need to be home?

No, you do not need to be home. The work being done is on the exterior of your home. As long as our crew has clear access to the perimeter of your house (e.g., gates unlocked, pets secured indoors) you do not need to be present.

Some homeowners prefer to present at the beginning and end of the project for initial introductions and a final walkthrough. If you prefer to be there for any part of the process, please let us know, and we can arrange that. However, for the bulk of the installation, your presence is not necessary.
